BAHNO welcomes abstracts from all specialties involved in head and neck cancer treatment and prevention. Prizes are available for outstanding contributions in both oral and poster presentation categories.

Work that has been previously presented, or that has been published should not be submitted to the conference and will not be accepted. There isn’t long to go, so click below to submit your abstract now.

Please note this is a strict deadline in order to allow selection by the academic committee with sufficient time for the successful candidates to book appropriate study leave.

Any incomplete abstracts will be considered less favourably.

BAHNO Annual Scientific Meeting, the only truly multidisciplinary conference for professionals involved in the study and treatment of head and neck cancer.

The theme of the 2025 conference is Treatment and management of Head and neck cancer in the next decade.

  • The Blair Hesketh Lecture presented by Baroness Helena Kennedy.
  • Multi-disciplinary representation in our Hospital to Home session for nursing and allied health professionals in head and neck cancer.
  • An interactive panel discussion with the Bristol MDT discussing real-world challenging cases.
  • A dedicated session focusing on career development, covering interviews, consultant jobs, shared decision making and consent – not to be missed for trainees!
  • The return of the BAHNO Debate! In the next 10 years Head and neck cancer management in the UK should only be performed in centres performing large volume caseloads. Are you For or Against?
  • The best presentations from research in the UK in our Free Papers and Poster sessions.
  • A new session with renowned experts in the Oncology and Imaging fields to share important updates.
